Are you looking for a tour of just a few hours but full of emotions?

Tortuga Island - Sunset at Playa Vivos & Bioluminescence Tour

We have the best option for you.
An activity of only 6 hours, a tour to the paradisiacal Isla Tortuga during the late afternoon when most of the boats are gone, after that, you will be able to enjoy the sunset on Playa Vivos,  where we finish the experience appreciating the phenomenon of Bioluminescence.

This unique tour will leave wonderful memories!
We guarantee a wonderful experience at dusk where you will see the light that radiates in water produced by organisms.

FUN FACT: Did you know that bioluminescence is used by marine animals to camouflage, distract, defend, communicate, and find dams?

The meeting would be in our office in Montezuma at 13:45, departing from Montezuma Beach for an enjoyable 45-minute boat ride down the coast.
We also provide transportation from Mal Pais, and Santa Teresa hotels or villas if needed. Starting at 13:00 the shuttle pick-up.

As soon as the tour starts our team will take you to Tortuga Island, where you can enjoy snorkeling, this tour is not focused on this, but on a sunny afternoon, it could be good. Or get to know the island's beach, which is nice with fewer people late afternoon.
At the island, we will serve Tacos, our traditional Gallos, and fruit around 16:30. (In Costa Rica, a traditional appetizer is known as Gallo, which consists of corn tortilla, meat, and some minced or vegetables)

The next stop will be near Playa Vivos inside Tambor Bay 20 minutes away, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset on the hills.

Once the night falls we get back aboard and start looking for the Bioluminescence, where you can have a swim with a life-jacket or just enjoy the view from the boat.

Please keep in mind that our boats have safety lights and this tour is close to the shore.

Around 19:00, we conclude this amazing activity in Pochote close to Tambor, to then shuttle you back to Montezuma 40 minute's drive, or to Santa Teresa about 60 minute's drive.
